The 49th Grammy Awards in the US are set to begin with a bang, as performers announced for the show include Red Hot Chili Peppers, BEYONCE and GNARLS BARKLEY.
And the CHILI PEPPERS are more than likely to get more chances to head on the stage as they have been nominated for six categories including best rock album and album of the year for STADIUM ARCADIUM.
GNARLS BARKLEY will also be entertaining the crowds at the star-studded bash on February 11th, as the newcomers also hope to scoop album awards, as well as being nominated for record of the year and best urban alternative performance for their hit song CRAZY.
But most eyes will be on the stunning BEYONCE, as the Grammy award magnet aims to increase her number of trophies from nine after being nominated for best female R&B vocalist and three other categories.
And as no stranger to the stage at big awards ceremonies, BEYONCE won over fans in the UK last year by her performance at the World Music Awards in London.
The R&B diva opened the show and performed another hit before being upstaged, as all the other acts were, by the presence of Michael Jackson singing a couple of lines at the end of the show.
