Grace Kelly's son Prince Albert Ii of Monaco is free to marry his fiancee Charlene Wittstock this summer (11) after she converted to Catholicism.
The royal wedding is due to take place on 2 July (11) and a spokesperson for the couple has now confirmed Wittstock, who was raised as a Protestant, has become a Roman Catholic so she can take part in the religious ceremony.
A statement reads, "Miss Charlene Wittstock, who professes the Christian faith, has been admitted by free and personal choice into full communion with the Catholic Church."
Catholicism is the official religion of Monaco.
