Veteran comedienne Goldie Hawn was honoured for her lengthy filmography at the 12th US Comedy Arts Festival on Saturday (11MAR06). The PRIVATE BENJAMIN star, 60, picked up the American Film Institute's Star Award at a ceremony in Aspen, Colorado. Accepting the honour, Hawn admitted she had always believed in herself, even when she made the audience laugh during a theatre production of Romeo And Juliet. She says, "I liked myself, and trusted in the universe. Comedy is like catching lightning in a bottle. You're trying to catch that moment and it's all about timing."
