Rockers Godsmack have returned to the top of the US album charts by debuting new album IV at number one on the new Billboard 200. It's the group's second debut at the top - their last release, FACELESS, entered the chart at number one in 2003. Godsmack sold 211,000 copies of IV to land at the top - 50,000 more than Taking Back Sunday's LOUDER NOW, which debuts at two on the new chart. Other high debuts come from Bruce Springsteen, whose tribute to folk icon PETE SEEGER, WE SHALL OVERCOME: THE SEEGER SESSIONS, enters the chart at number three; R+B star Avant, who lands at number four with DIRECTOR, and Rihanna, who debuts at five with A GIRL LIKE ME. It's a great week for the Caribbean R+B star - her TAINTED LOVE-sampled tune SOS has also hit the top spot on Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 chart.
