Shamed country legend Glen Campbell is to team up with longtime collaborator and pal JIMMY WEBB to record his first album since his release from jail on drink driving offences.

The singer was recently released from prison in Arizona, where he spent 10 nights, and he's keen to get back to work.

Campbell, who recorded Webb's classics GALVESTON, WICHITA LINEMAN and BY THE TIME I GET TO PHOENIX, will work with the songwriting icon on his upcoming album BACK TO THE COUNTRY.

Webb insists the album could be one of his pal's best: "In quite the most base and ludicrous way possible, it has really brought him back to the attention of the American people."
