Celebrity photographer Tyler Shields is auctioning off an image depicting Glee star Heather Morris with a black eye for charity after he was accused of glamorising domestic violence with the shoot.
The actress sported fake bruising to her face as she posed for the camera in the recent photoshoot, but the pictures stirred controversy as critics lashed out at Shields for the insensitive theme.
He defended his "bruised up Barbie" images as works of art, stating, "In no way were we promoting domestic violence. We both loved the idea and we both love the photos."
But Shields has now decided to make amends for the uproar by selling one particular shot of Morris and donating the profits to a charity for victims of domestic violence.
The starting price for the photo will be $100,000 (£62,500), reports Tmz.com.
