Glee creator Ryan Murphy is writing a big screen musical for Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon after the foursome connected over dinner.
Murphy met with the Hollywood actresses to discuss a fun project they all could work on together - and the superstars came up with a musical extravaganza called One Hit Wonders.
According to Deadline.com, Diaz, Paltrow and Witherspoon will play one-time pop stars who decide to form a supergroup after their chart careers take a nosedive.
The Glee mastermind will direct the movie and write the screenplay, and is teaming up with Sony Pictures chief Amy Pascal, who he worked with when he stepped behind the camera on Julia Roberts' Eat Pray Love.
Murphy worked with Paltrow when she made a cameo appearance as teacher Holly Holliday on Glee in 2010 and he previously revealed plans to write a musical movie role for her.
