Dappy has reportedly been charged with affray.

The 24-year-old rapper - whose real name is Costadinos Contostavlos - has been hit with the charge after being allegedly involved in a punch-up at a Shell petrol station in Surrey last month which left three men with ''serious facial injuries''.

According to The Sun newspaper, Dappy was one of four men questioned in relation to the incident, which allegedly began when the 'No Regrets' hitmaker and a friend pulled up at the garage, approached a group of girls and three men and asked the women to join them in their car.

But when Dappy and his unnamed 27-year-old friend's advances were refused, one of them is said to have spat at the women before a group of up to six men arrived in two cars and an altercation broke out.

A Surrey police spokesperson previously said: ''Police are investigating an incident which happened on the forecourt of the Shell garage in Woodbridge Road, Guildford, on Tuesday, February 28.

''Three men were assaulted and received serious facial injuries in the attack.

''A 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were both arrested on suspicion of affray.''

The pair have been bailed and are due to face Magistrates in Guildford, Surrey, on May 24.

Dappy recently took to his twitter account to insists he is ''completely innocent'' after being embroiled in the incident.

He tweeted: ''Apparently i got arrested 4 talking 2 someones girlfriend in a P station.

''Surrey police, i beg u leak that cctv footage u showed me in that stinking interview room just 2 show the world that im completely innocent.

''Bunch of Liars ... Nooooo evidence u scums...F..k Feds..Love u fans x (sic)''
