Glade Festival has announced the full line-up for their 2012 event. Acts include Jimmy Edgar; West Norwood Cassette Library; Lee Mortimer and Bare Noize. They will be joining Glade Stage headliners Sven Vath; Andy C and Toddla T & MC Serocee.

Further details about the two new stages have also been announced. The Meteor Stage will be held in a thirty foot crater, with the speakers installed underneath the floor. Meanwhile, the Liquid Stage will feature music and live acts that won't end until the next morning.

In addition to the music, there will also be a Remix Roller Disco and a Dance Off stage, as well as micro tents showcasing art galleries; karaoke; cinemas and much more.

The Glade Festival began life as a stage at the Glastonbury Festival. It was launched as a proper festival in 2004 and for the first five years, it was held at the Wasing Estate in Berkshire. For the last two years, it has been held at Houghton Hall in Norfolk, which has not been a venue for any other festival prior to Glade.

The festival has seen its fair share of problems over the years. In 2007, their license application was dismissed on an early technicality; causing a delay in ticket sales until the license was finally accepted in April 2007. In the same year, major flooding threatened to close the entire festival. Glade had to be cancelled in 2010, due to the Hampshire Constabulary raising policing costs by a considerable amount.
