Gisele Bundchen has been confirmed as the new face of Givenchy.
The Brazilian supermodel appears in the latest campaign for the French fashion house, confirming months of rumours she was taking over from Mariacarla Boscono.
Gisele's first ad is in "the expression of a love story between a surfer and a mermaid" and she stars alongside two male models (Chris Moore and Simone Nobili) in a gothic, beach-side spread with big, black surfboards.
Earlier this year, Gisele was named the world's top earning model for the seventh year.
The 31-year-old beauty has topped the list, compiled by Forbes.com, since 2004, but this year saw her income increase by a huge $20 million to earn $45million over one year.
Proof of Gisele's star status enhancing brands is easy to find, as after becoming the face of hair care brand Pantene in March 2010, the company's sales went up by 40 per cent in Latin America.
Heidi Klum - who earned $20 million through her recent partnership with website Amazon.com and launching her own clothing line with sportswear Brand New Balance - came second followed by Kate Moss in third.
