The Brazilian beauty was quizzed about her political leanings by a fan on Instagram after the controversial Republican claimed American football star Brady had already voted for him during a Monday night (07Nov16) rally in Manchester, New Hampshire.

"Tom Brady, great guy, great guy...," he told the crowd. "He called today and he said, 'Donald, I support you, you're my friend, and I voted for you.'"

However, Gisele has suggested Trump may have spoken too soon after responding to an Instagram follower late on Monday, on the eve of U.S. election day.

"Gisele I heard you and Tom were backing Trump! Is that true??" the fan asked, prompting the model to simply reply, "NO!"

Brady, the star quarterback for the New England Patriots, has yet to comment on the property mogul-turned-politician's remarks, but he previously admitted it would be "great" to have Trump as president, after a piece of the Republican's merchandise was spotted in his team locker last year (15).

Trump has stirred controversy throughout his campaign, blasting illegal Mexican immigrants as "rapists" and criminals, and making offensive comments about women, Muslims, and African-Americans.

He is battling Democrat rival Hillary Clinton at the polls on Tuesday (08Nov16) in the race for the White House.
