Stefano Pilati has been once again linked to the job as the creative head of Giorgio Armani.
Stefano Pilati has again been touted as the new creative head of Giorgio Armani.
Rumours suggesting the designer was to go to The Fashion house initially emerged last year and although they were quickly denied, a fashion journalist has heard it may come to fruition when the 77-year-old sartorlialist retires in the future.
Former Fashion News Daily writer Jim Shi tweeted: ''My sources are telling Stefano Pilati is headed to Giorgio Armani with the intention to assume full creative reigns when GA retires.''
Stefano is not the only star to have been linked to the role - Narciso Rodriguez is also thought to be a possibility for the job.
He previously admitted he had no regrets about leaving Yvest Saint Laurent earlier this year to be replaced by Hedi Slimane.
He said: ''I am really good. I am really happy, which is something very unusual for me in a sense that I never believed that it could have been possible to feel happy, at least under these kinds of circumstances.
''It's pretty beautiful what happened to me. I found myself working and being supported and encouraged by amazing people I always admired and still admire. I found myself at the end of this chapter and don't regret one minute.''
