The brunette model has been dominating catwalks and campaigns for the last two years, and recently topped off a successful 2016 by walking for the first time in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Paris.

But she had one more piece of exciting news to share before the year ends. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (14Dec16), Bella, 20, uploaded a black and white snap of herself modelling a Chrome Hearts T-shirt.

"So damn excited! You have no idea what's coming! My new collection with @chromeheartsofficial designed by me, shot by my angel mother @laurielynnstark I CANT wait for you all to see what we've made! Follow @chromeheartsxbella for more #chromeheartsxbella coming soon soon soon..." she captioned the image.

Her 8.6 million followers lapped up the news, with many congratulating the fashion star. A new Instagram account, @chromeheartsxbella, has also been launched.

Bella isn't the first Hadid to embark on a design career; her older sister Gigi is also building up a reputation as a clothesmaker. The 21-year-old blonde teamed up with Tommy Hilfiger earlier this year (16), creating cosy knits, military-inspired dresses, nautical stripes and sporty undergarments. TommyxGigi was unveiled during New York Fashion Week, with Gigi revealing she managed to design the entire collection in just seven hours.

"I would love to do another collection with Tommy and one day, I would love to design on my own," she told Harper's Bazaar. "This was the perfect first experience for me though, because it takes away a lot of that pressure as they already know how to execute it. I stayed six hours longer than my contracted one hour, so I was still really involved in the whole process but it wasn't as daunting as it could have been."

Gigi has also designed a boot for footwear company Stuart Weitzman.
