Former SPICE GIRL star Geri Halliwell has hailed British monarch Queen Elizabeth II as a pioneer of the girl power cause.
The singer has lavished praise on the 82-year-old, insisting she has "never lost her decorum".
Halliwell, 35, says, "She epitomises what girl power stands for."
The singer even compared herself to the royal, adding, "I saw the film The Queen and the way she wanted to go and be by herself, without all the bodyguards. I identified with that in the sense that, although I'm a public person, equally I absolutely love my anonymity."
