GEORGIA MAY JAGGER, the daughter of Rolling Stones rocker Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall, says her parents supported her decision to pose topless for a recent photo-shoot for Hudson jeans.
Despite the revealing nature of the images, the British model says her parents fully understood her decision, Jagger told Harper's Bazaar magazine, "My mom did a lot of provocative work with Helmut Newton. I didn't think that it was going to be on giant billboards everywhere. I'm sort of like, Oh, God!" The 18-year-old is becoming quite a force in the fashion world, she's already fronted a beauty campaign for Rimmel cosmetics as well as appearing on the runway for Chanel, and she is set to feature in the November issue of 'Harpers'.
Jagger says her mother's distinguished career in the modelling industry inspired her to break into world of fashion herself, adding, "When mum was first modelling it was all about that Thierry Mugler woman with the tiny waist.I model jeans. You need a bum for those". Her association with Hudson is set to expand to that of designer, and the brand are due to release the 'Hudson by Georgia May Jagger' range in March 2011, a collection that Jagger says was inspired by the rock band GUNS N' ROSES.
