Pop superstar George Michael will play a special Christmas concert to pay tribute to the British nurses who cared for his late mother during the last weeks of her life. The JESUS TO A CHILD hitmaker will perform at London's legendary Roundhouse venue on 20 December (06) and it will be the last show on his sell-out European 25 Live tour. He says, "Almost ten years ago, during the last week of my mother's life, I told my friends and family that if I ever played my own concerts again, I would make sure to do a free one for nurses. "The nurses that helped my family at that time were incredible people, and I realised just how undervalued these amazing people are. "And so I want to thank them with a Christmas concert, I can't wait. Neither can the tour crew, for entirely different reasons."
