George Michael has lost considerable weight since undergoing drugs counselling and finds all of his ''old clothes'' now fit.
George Michael has lost 15lbs since quitting drugs.
The 'Carless Whisper' hitmaker has been undergoing narcotics counselling for his cannabis use, and as a result has stopped eating junk food and has lost the large amount of weight.
He said: "I've been in counselling for substance abuse for nearly 10 months, and part of the advantage of that is I've dropped about 14 or 15lbs. All my old clothes fit me.
"I wouldn't say I'm looking in the mirror but it's definitely one of the advantages of being cleaner."
Speaking at the opening night of his 'Symphonica' tour at the Prague State Opera House in the Czech Republic, the 48-year-old singer also discussed his time in prison - where he spent four weeks last year for driving while under The Influence of drugs into a photography shop in north London - claiming it was a "logical experience" because of where he had got in his life.
He said: "I felt I had a bill to pay and I thought that prison was a logical conclusion to a very dark chapter.
"I wouldn't say it was a good experience, but it was a logical experience."
However, being in jail did result in George starting smoking cigarettes again, something he is now trying to give up.
He explained: "Of course, within a week, because there was barely anything else to do in there, I was back hooked on the nicotine.
"Now I'm trying not to smoke cigarettes - what I've found is tweeting gives me something to do."
