Pop legend George Michael poked fun at his much-publicised addiction problems as he played a sold-out concert in London on Tuesday (25Oct11).
The former Wham! star brought his Symphonica tour to the Royal Albert Hall in the British capital, where he was born and raised.
The singer was joined by a 41-piece orchestra for his homecoming gig, during which he covered New Order hit True Faith.
Introducing the song, Michael joked to the crowd about his own well-documented struggles with substance abuse.
He quipped, "This is a song about the nature of addiction... which, of course, I know nothing about."
The show was the first of four at the Royal Albert Hall.
