The 2 Live Crew star, real name Luther Campbell, previously used the pseudonym Luke Skywalker but later changed it to Luke Skyywalker.

The name sparked a legal battle with Lucas, who sued Campbell for trademark infringement and unfair competition amid fears the title was too similar to the name of the hero in his sci-fi films.

Lucas won a $300,000 (£200,000) out of court settlement, and Campbell had to drop the pseudonym and change the name of his record label, and the rapper admits he is still bitter about the dispute.

Campbell reveals he is not letting his kids watch new Star Wars movie The Force Awakens, the first film produced by Disney after Lucas sold on the franchise, and he will be encouraging them to turn to the black market if they really want to see it.

"I tell my kids, don't ever buy bootleg," he tells Vulture.com, "But if you really want to watch that movie, you can buy it bootleg... Every time I see a trailer, or an ad, for that movie, all I can think is I want that motherf**ker George Lucas to give me my money back...

"I respect the fact that people love the movie. George Lucas made a helluva movie and a brand. People love it. But he took nearly a half a million dollars from me."
