The former model, who was also married Eric Clapton, was due to launch her candid show, Pattie Boyd: George, Eric and Me, on 5 May (16), but she has been forced to scrap an appearance on the opening night at The Beatles Story attraction in Liverpool, England, as she recovers from a fall.

Reports suggest Boyd broke her elbow and injured her hip while out walking her dog.

The launch event has been postponed until Pattie recovers.

The exhibition, consisting of snaps from Boyd's personal collection, will open to the public on 6 May (16) and run until the autumn (16).

Boyd, 72, married Harrison in 1966 but they were both unfaithful, with Pattie having a fling with Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood. She separated from George in 1974 and moved on with his close friend Eric Clapton, who she wed in 1979. She divorced Clapton in 1989.

Boyd is currently married to property developer Rod Weston.
