Olivia has been in talks with Henley Council about renaming the town's Red LION PARK the GEORGE HARRISON GARDEN - but no agreement has been reached and plans have been put on hold.
Friends say Olivia wants to make sure any memorial for Harrison - who lost his battle with cancer in 2001, aged 58 - is something he would have approved of.
A source says, "No one is going to be hurried into making a decision, as it's important they get it right.
"George certainly wouldn't want too much fuss."
Olivia and Dhani, her son with the guitarist, this week (5JAN04) launched legal action against a doctor who treated the former Beatle shortly before he died - accusing New York cancer specialist DR GILBERT LEDERMAN of preying on Harrison and forcing him to sign a guitar for his son, against his will.09/01/2004 13:42
