Former Genesis star Phil Collins refuses to move in with his current girlfriend - because he enjoys living alone too much.
The rocker is currently dating American news anchor Dana Tyler but, after three failed marriages, the 59 year old now prefers life in his 'bachelor pad' and insists he has no plans to share his home again.
He tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "I like the peace and quiet. Don't get me wrong, Dana and I get on incredibly well and really enjoy seeing one another. All the same, in this phase of my life, I feel best when I'm alone.
"I believe in marriage. I would still like to be married and be able to say 'Good morning' to the kids more often. But it wasn't meant to be. The only woman who is regularly in my house now is my boys' nanny.
"I have moments when I do (feel lonely), of course I do, but, all in all, I enjoy my life. I don't live in a big house anymore. My place is relatively cramped."
Collins was previously married to Canadian Andrea Bertorelli and American-born Jill Tavelman, and he divorced his third wife Orianne Cevey in 2007.
