The trio was among the celebrities remembering the late rocker's music at the Wiltern Theatre's Celebrating David Bowie event, which featured members of the Let's Dance singer's touring band as the house act.

Farrell, Bush’s Rossdale, Sting's son Joe Sumner, and Def Leppard star Joe Elliott performed songs like Suffragette City, I'm Afraid of Americans, and Golden Years, but the former The Police star stole the show and left fans spellbound with his renditions of Blackstar and Lazarus, from Bowie's final album Blackstar.

The Celebrating David Bowie tribute hits the stage again on Wednesday night (25Jan17), minus Sting.

Bowie's band then takes the show to Sydney, Australia on Sunday (29Jan17) and Tokyo, Japan on 2 February (17).

The rocker lost his battle with cancer two days after his 69th birthday in January, 2016.
