LATEST: Former THE HILLTOP HUSTLERS star CHRISTOPHER 'COOL C' RONEY's execution will be postponed until his post-conviction litigation is resolved, a Pennsylvania judge has ruled.

Gary Glazer ordered the stay of execution last Wednesday (01FEB06), reports. It comes just weeks after the rapper's death warrant was signed, which condemned him to a lethal injection on 9 March (06).

Roney, 36, was found guilty in October 1996 of the first-degree murder of a Philadelphia police officer during a failed bank heist.

While his accomplice and rap sidekick WARREN 'STEADY B' McGLONE was sentenced to life imprisonment, Roney received a death sentence for pulling the trigger.

The GLAMOROUS LIFE hitmaker is currently behind bars at Pennsylvania's State Correctional Institution at Greene.
