Pop star Gary Barlow has laughed off a hack attack earlier this week (06Apr12), joking that a cyber-crook who hijacked his Twitter.com blog was looking after it while he was on a flight.
The Take That star was jetting back from a trip around the Commonwealth states for his latest musical project when he was targeted by an online trickster on Wednesday (04Apr12).
The mystery crook broke into Barlow's twitter account and tried to spread malicious software to other stars including Virgin tycoon Richard Branson and British singer Olly Murs.
Twitter bosses eventually re-set the singer's account, deleted the offending tweets, and locked out the hacker - but Barlow has laughed off the incident.
In a new post on the site, he writes, "I hear my stand in on twitter didn't do so well?"
