Country star GARY ALLAN is in mourning, following the suicide of his wife ANGELA HERZBERG.

Herzberg, 36, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the couple's Hendersonville, Tennessee, home yesterday (25OCT04).

The couple had six children from previous relationships.

NOTHING ON BUT THE RADIO singer Allan, who was home at the time of his wife's suicide, has cancelled performances scheduled for this week (ends29OCT04) in Portland, Maine; Uncasville, Connecticut; and Burgettstown, Pennsylvania.
