The country superstars enjoy hosting gatherings over the festive season and while many people spend America's November holiday with relatives, singer-turned-TV chef Trisha reveals she and Garth are usually joined by various friends and colleagues, who will otherwise be alone for the holiday.
"We do sort of our own 'Friendsgiving' in Nashville (on Thanksgiving),” she said. “We have a lot of people (in the business) who don't get to go home, so if you don't have a place to go for Thanksgiving, you come to our house!"
Trisha and Garth, who wed in 2005, are well known for their hospitality, and the Georgia Rain star admits she still can't believe how lucky she was to find love with her longtime pal after two failed marriages.
"He is the sweetest guy ever, he really is,” she gushed on U.S. cooking show The Chew. “He's the guy who gets up in the morning and makes my coffee everyday, and he doesn't drink coffee.
“I mean, after 25 years of knowing him I'm thinking the other shoe's gonna fall but it just doesn't; he's just the nicest guy ever."
Trisha, 52, was previously married to musician Chris Lathan from 1987 to 1991, and The Mavericks bassist Robert 'Bobby' Reynolds from 1994 to 1999.
Garth, 54, was also married before, to his college sweetheart, songwriter Sandy Mahl, from 1986 until their split in 1999. They finalised their divorce in 2001. The former couple share three daughters.
