Funeral Party release Just Because on August 30th 2010 through Jive Records, this is the follow up single to their UK debut 'NYC Moves To The Sound Of LA'. Both of the singles this East LA three piece have released are catchy as can be, if you've heard them either, you're sure to have the chorus stuck in your head for the rest of the day.

LA is a machine, spewing out well-marketed, glossy and predictable bands. You'd never have expected the record label behind At The Drive-In to take this path, but a quick look at their Emo-lite roster confirms it. As I learn, Funeral Party had a false start there, and talking to them, you can see that they're not the type of guys to take it lying down. Contact met them at Download festival, a seemingly odd choice of festival for the disco-punk band. They stuck out like sore thumbs in the landslide of metal.

June 14th will see the release of Funeral Party's UK debut single NYC Moves To The Sound Of LA released through Jive Records. The four piece who hail from east LA have recently impressed US gig goers who got to see the band support Julian Casablancas on his solo tour.
