Horror flick Freddy Vs Jason has stayed at the top of the American box office for the second week in a row - the first movie to do so since X-Men 2 in May (03).

Thanks to no big openers, the feud film stayed on top with a weekend take of $13.45 million (GBP10.28 million), bringing its overall 10-day haul to $61.5 million (GBPGBP38.4 million).

Jackie Chan's movie THE MEDALLION was the highest-placed new movie in fifth place, taking $8.2 million (GBP5.13 million).

And Hollywood's latest golden boy Ashton Kutcher, could only muster 10th place for his new flick, MY BOSS'S DAUGHTER.

Colin Farrell's hit movie S.W.A.T. stayed in second place, taking $10.8 million (GBP6.75 million) and both Freaky Friday and Open Range tied for third place, with $9.4 million (GBP5.87 million) apiece.
