Franz Ferdinand's Alex Kapranos fears he has no more musical ambitions left - after fulfilling his childhood dream of booking a performance at London's Royal Albert Hall for the forthcoming TEENAGE CANCER TRUST concerts.
The double-Brit Awards winner used to joke he would one day play at the capital's celebrated venue, but he still can't believe he'll be on stage there in April (05).
Kapranos gushes, "It's the sort of gig we used to joke about with our mates when we were playing wee gigs, saying yeah, one day we'll play the Royal Albert Hall never imagining we would. That's it now, my dream has come true. The problem is, what do I strive towards now?"
And he's nervous about participating with the event's co-organiser, THE WHO star Roger Daltrey: "It was quite a shocker as I'm a huge Who fan. You don't say no to him, he's pretty handy with a microphone."13/02/2005 10:47
