The Saturdays singer has been out of the limelight for almost two months after she was admitted to rehab for "unconfirmed reasons" in October - and the Manchester City soccer player has been cheering her up by cooking homemade meals for her and buying flowers.
A friend of the 31-year-old sportsman told the Daily Star newspaper: "Frankie has been under the weather and Wayne has been 100 per cent there for her. He's been buying her bunches of flowers and making home cooked food.
"Wayne has been driving up and down the motorway to see her every day he's had a day off from training."
The 22-year-old pop beauty is "feeling much better" since undergoing treatment and she has taken to twitter to reveal she is looking forward to getting back to work with her bandmates Una Healy, Mollie King, Vanessa White and Rochelle Wiseman.
She tweeted: "just been watching some of your get well soon videos. thanks for all the hard work messages! i shall be with my @TheSaturdaystoday! excited! (sic)"
Her representative added: "Frankie is back at work but taking it slow. She's feeling much better."
The singer has missed a number of the band's work commitments since mid-September, and was absent on Tuesday night (01.11.11) when the group turned on the Christmas Lights in London's Oxford Street.
