Also featuring at the A Peaceful Noise concert is Travis frontman Fran Healy, with the event taking place at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire venue on 15 November (16), a year and two days after gunmen and suicide bombers killed 130 in the French capital.
The attacks hit the music community especially hard as 89 of those who died were killed at an Eagles of Death Metal concert at the city's Bataclan theatre.
Among those murdered at the Bataclan was 36-year-old Nick Alexander, a British merchandise seller known personally by many of the rockers whose tours he had followed.
Speaking to British trade magazine Music Week, Frank Turner said, "Losing Nick in the horrible events in Paris was the worst part of last year. He was truly one of the good guys. Bringing people together in the spirit of peace and music for an evening is the least we can do for his memory, I'm honoured to be asked to play."
A Peaceful Noise will raise money for two music related charities, The Nick Alexander Memorial Fund and Eagles of Death Metal founder member Josh Homme's Sweet Stuff Foundation. Josh was not on stage with the band during the attack.
Nick's sister, Zoe Alexander added, "Live music was Nick's passion and it seemed only fitting that we mark the anniversary of his passing in this way.
"Everyone who lost their lives that night had a shared love of music and we're thrilled to bring some of Nick's favourite artists together for this celebration of unity, peace and rock and roll."
As well as those already signed up to perform at the A Peaceful Noise concert, more acts are set to be announced on the bill.
