Rapper Foxy Brown's lawyer has accepted the blame for the star's late arrival at a New York court on Tuesday (21Jun11).
Brown, real name Inga Marchand, was reprimanded by the judge when she showed up two hours late for court, but explained her attorney had told her not to get there earlier.
Annoyed, she told the court, "This is bulls**t. I'm always here on time."
And now her lawyer, Salvatore Strazullo, has confessed the error was his fault - he told his famous client to be at court at 11.30am, two hours after her scheduled 9.30am appearance. Strazullo tells Tmz.com he had arranged with the Assistant District Attorney for the late arrival.
Brown is facing charges of public lewdness, harassment, and criminal contempt after violating a court order for allegedly flashing her bottom and hurling obscenities at a New York neighbour, who has an order of protection against the star.
She is due back in court next month (Jul11).
