Actor Michael J. Fox lit up New York's iconic Empire State Building on Friday (08Apr11) to raise awareness of his Parkinson's disease charity.
The Back To The Future star was diagnosed with the degenerative disorder in 1991 and went on to set up the Michael J. Fox Foundation in bid to find a cure for the condition.
To mark Parkinson's Awareness Month (Apr11), Fox cast the spotlight on the Manhattan building and he was joined by his daughter Esme, nine, as he lit up the monument orange and white.
He tells ET Online, "It's a great honour from the city and we really appreciate it. It's a great symbol, the Empire State Building, of achieving the impossible if you work together and that's what we represent."
