The Foo Fighters have scrapped a show in Singapore after frontman Dave Grohl was ordered to rest his voice by doctors.
The band was set to play at the Padang venue in the city on 2 March (12), but the singer started to have issues with his vocals and the rockers were advised to cancel the gig to allow him to recover.
A statement from the group reads, “We deeply regret having to cancel. It wasn’t an easy decision and after carefully considering medical advice, we felt we had no choice.
“Dave’s been told by more than one doctor that he has to take it easy on his voice. We hate to disappoint our fans in Singapore and hope you’ll all understand and that we’ll see you all in the not too distant future.”
Promoters have promised refunds for the tickets. The group's next gig will take place in Tokyo, Japan on 7 March (12).
