British singer Florence Welch fears she will be hit with an enormous bill from an angry designer after ruining an expensive dress at an event earlier this week (begs06May13).
The Florence + The MAChine frontwoman suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction at a party following the Costume Institute Gala in New York on Monday (06May13) when her gown got tangled up in two chairs.
The Dog Days Are Over hitmaker was seated outside a venue with a group of friends but when she tried to stand, the long tassels of her Givenchy outfit got caught up in the furniture, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six
Welch's stylist swiftly came to the rescue and cut her free with a pair of scissors, but the singer now fears retribution from the fashion house's creative director.
She was overheard saying, "Riccardo Tisci's going to kill me (for ruining the dress), but there's no way I can go upstairs dragging two chairs."
