British singer Florence Welch struggles to keep control of herself when she performs on live TV as she is constantly fighting "impulses" to "do something really weird".
The Dog Days Are Over hitmaker, who is set to perform at the televised Brit Awards in London on Tuesday night (21Feb12), admits having the power to ruin a live event leaves her battling strange thoughts.
She tells Bbc Radio 1, "Because it's live TV, I always get those weird impulses like when you are standing too close to the edge of the (London) Tube platform.
"Having that sort of power, like, 'I could do something really weird on live telly'. But I never do.
"Why doesn't it happen more? Like, people just wigging (freaking) out. Playing the hurdy gurdy (instrument) or something. I might do star jumps."
