Final Destination 3 will give viewers the chance to make life or death choices for the characters when it is released on DVD later this year (06). The disc will mark the biggest experiment with interactive software and additional content to date. Other movie studios have offered DVDs with alternate endings and interactive features but not at such a sophisticated level. New Line Home Video Senior Vice President MIKE MULVIHILL says, "For this to really work we thought, we've got to engage A-level film-makers that are already working for us." The THRILL RIDE edition gives viewers seven storylines to choose from at 10-minute intervals. Viewers can also opt to see the theatrical version without the interactive content.
