Jackie Chan, the all-action superstar of the smash-hit Rush Hour films, stars in the spy-spoof adventure comedy THE TUXEDO, from DreamWorks Pictures, which will open in cinemas across the United Kingdom & Ireland on January 10th, 2003.
THE TUXEDO (Cert. 12A), which also stars actress-singer Jennifer Love Hewitt (Heartbreakers and new solo album Bare Naked) and Jason Isaacs (The Patriot, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets), is the story of a New York cabbie (Chan) who finds himself taking possession of a hi-tech tuxedo, the property of a suave superspy (Isaacs). Together with a rookie partner (Hewitt), he sets out to save the world.
The action comedy, which has already grossed more than $46,000,000 in the U.S., delighting audiences of all ages, also stars Debbie Mazar (The Insider), Ritchie Coster (The Thomas Crown Affair) and Peter Stormare (Minority Report). Directed by award-winning commercials director Kevin Donovan, from a screenplay by Michael J. Wilson (Ice Age) and Michael Leeson (The War of the Roses), it is produced by Adam Schroeder (The Truman Show) and John H. Williams (Shrek).
THE TUXEDO is a DreamWorks Pictures presentation of a Vanguard Films and a Parkes/MacDonald production and is released in the United Kingdom & Ireland by United International Pictures.
