The 28-year-old rapper - real name Elliot Gleave - said he "may be swayed" to record with the 'Fire' rockers, particularly if he was approached by the band's guitarist and songwriter, Sergio Pizzorno.
Example said: "If Kasabian came to me then I may be swayed - I love Serge, I think he's an amazing songwriter.
"And if Swedish House Mafia asked me to do a tune then obviously I'd do it. Tinchy Stryder asked me to appear on some stuff with him as well, which was nice, as I'm not from a grime or hip hop scene."
Example - who previously admitted he would happily work on "loads" of material with 'Pack Up' singer Eliza Doolittle - also revealed he wants to "change people's opinions" of his music with his dance music influenced third album, 'Playing in The Shadows'.
He added to Gigwise.com: "My music is poppy and catchy but I've always wanted to be a serious dance rave act. I think the fact that there's rapping in there doesn't really matter - it worked for Faithless.
"I think the album has the best producers in the world on it for what I do. For a dance album to have Faithless, Laidback Luke, Nero all at once is amazing for me.
"Nobody said I could write anything better than 'Kickstart', but the only person I have to better is myself."
