Eva Longoria and Lea Michele will receive Variety's Power of Women honour at a luncheon in Beverly Hills later this month.

The actresses will join fellow honourees Annette Bening, Oliva Wilde and Stacey Snider at the third annual event on September 23 which recognises the philanthropic work of women in Hollywood.

Variety Vice President and Associate Publisher Michelle Sobrino-Stearns said: "The goal of Variety's Power of Women is to give voice to the philanthropic and charitable causes closest to our Lifetime impact Honourees' hearts and to utilise The Influence of the entertainment community to generate momentum for these same causes."

Eva will be feted for her charity Eva's Heroes, which works with Special Needs teenagers, Lea's award comes for her involvement with PETA, Olivia's is for her association with Artists for Peace and Justice, Annette has been honoured for her work with the actor's fund and Stacey's inclusion on the list is for her involvement with City Year.

Last year's honourees include Jennifer Garner, Katie Holmes and Eva Mendes.

The annual luncheon is held in conjunction with Variety's annual Women's Impact Report.
