Veteran movie star Ernest Borgnine is hoping his Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Lifetime Achievement Award will lead to more job offers.
The 94-year-old actor has continued working long after retirement age, recently appearing in Red with Bruce Willis and Dame Helen Mirren and an upcoming turn in Night Club opposite Sally Kellerman.
He is set to receive a trophy for his contribution to the industry at the upcoming SAG Awards on 30 January (11), and Borgnine hopes the honour will give him more work.
He tells the New York Post, "I'm 94. I'm lucky I know enough to show up there that day... Although this is like getting another Oscar, I'm still looking for work. I'm out soon in a picture called something like Night Club. Only one I remember is actually in it is me..."
