Rockers Enter Shikari look set to dominate the upcoming AIM Independent Music Awards after landing three nominations.

The band has received nods in the Best Live Act, Hardest Working Band Or Artist and Independent Album Of The Year categories, but the fight for the top live trophy will be tough - The Cribs, The Prodigy, Frank Turner and Dub Pistols are also nominated.

Turner is tipped in the hardest working category too, while Alabama Shakes and Madness are also up for two awards apiece.

Soul sensation Adele has been nominated for the PPL Award For Most Played Independent Act - she goes head-to-head with the Arctic Monkeys, Caro Emerald, Madness and Travis.

The prizegiving will take place in London on 29 October (12).
