Emma Watson shed a tear at the premiere of her latest movie, The Perks of Being A Wallflower. Emma told reporters at the premiere that the movie makes her cry every time she watches it. “This is, like, the third time I've seen the movie and it still makes me cry,” said Watson. “I had to run out and try and fix my face for the Q&A because I was such a wreck.” It seems that Emma wasn’t the only person to be moved by the film, either.

The Perks of Being A Wallflower, which also stars Ezra Miller and Logan Lerman, is based on Stephen Chbosky’s novel of the same name. 22 year-old Watson plays the role of a high school student who falls in love with a shy classmate. Her appearance in the movie mars her first leading role since the end of the Harry Potter movie franchise. Though she’s had smaller roles (in My Week with Marilyn and Tales of Despereaux), she’ll have been banking on a positive response to her performance in this movie to propel her adult career away from the ‘child actor’ stigma of her Harry Potter performances.

Watson almost risked having her appearance in the movie overshadowed by a wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet in Los Angeles on Sunday according to The Metro. Watson was wearing a backless, nude-coloured dress, which shifted to one side whilst she posed for pictures. Luckily, a nipple cover did its job and saved the young actress’ modesty. Perhaps she was practicing a spot of nudity, to fuel those Emma Watson Fifty Shades of Grey rumours?
