Emma Watson, the British actress best known for playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, claims she would "go mad" if forced to go on a diet to fit in with other actresses in Los Angeles. Despite her modelling career, Watson reveals she doesn't "obsess" about her appearance.
Speaking to Harper's Bazaar, the actress spoke about the pressures of Hollywood on actresses such as herself, saying, "L.A. scares the crap out of me.I feel if I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad. I will absolutely lose it". The 21-year-old, who features on the August cover of UK Harper's wearing a gothic inspired outfit, says her own sexiness can often "scare her", saying, "To let myself be powerful, sexy, all those things, it's scary for me". She also admitted her most recent photo shoot "felt a bit uncomfortable and awkward, it didn't come naturally at all". All eyes will be on the actress for the final Harry Potter movie, during which she finally kisses her long-time co-star Rupert Grint - she recently described the kiss as the "most anticipated in history".
Despite finishing work on the 'Potter' movies, Emma Watson is currently working on a number of forthcoming projects. She will next star alongside Michelle Williams in the Marilyn Monroe biopic 'My Week with Marilyn'.
