"It looks as if I've had, like, 6,000 boyfriends!" This is how Emma Watson feels about the constant stream of photographs in the media, claiming that she is dating every man that she happens to be pictured with. In an interview with Glamour magazine, Watson explains that, even after several years in the limelight, she is still learning that anonymity and privacy are tricky things to come by when you are a movie star. When her friend got her a ticket to this year's Coachella Festival, little did she think that the photographers would be able to pick her out of the huge crowd as she enjoyed a kiss with her boyfriend Will Adamowicz. That private moment didn't stay private for long, though and she soon fond the pictures plastered all over the media.
"My friend got me tickets for my birthday," Watson explains "and what am I going to say? 'No, I'm not going to go, because I don't want to be photographed?' But it was a huge crowd, and I thought there was no way anyone could get pictures of me, but somehow they found me." When she's not trying to hide from the prying eyes of the paparazzi, of course, she is busy trying to further her acting career and will shortly be appearing in The Perks of Being A Wallflower. "Making this movie was so pivotal for me because I realised I do really want to be an actress, which wasn't something I fully knew, since Harry Potter was such a singular experience."
She's philosophical about this juncture in her film career and told Glamour "Obviously I'm nervous to see what other people think, but it kind of doesn't matter to me. It's so cheesy to say this, but it's the journey, not the end goal, that's important."
