Actress Emma Watson and singer-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham have been named among the most inspirational women of the decade in a U.K. magazine poll.

The former Spice Girls star beat out competition from supermodels Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne to come top of the fashion category as voted for by readers of Britain's Grazia magazine.

Harry Potter star Watson came top of the entertainment section, beating the likes of Adele and Beyonce, while Girls creator Lena Dunham was named the most inspirational in culture, ahead of Fifty Shades of Grey author E.L. James and Potter writer J.K. Rowling.

Teenage activist Malala Yousafzai beat former U.S. First Lady Hillary Clinton to the top politics prize.
