Lending their bodies to this year's FishLove campaign the actors struck a pose with a dead fish to draw attention to the danger of over-fishing in U.K. waters.

In the unusual photo shoot Emma, 56, bares her flesh holding two strategically placed Black Scabbard fish, as husband Greg Wise, 49, sits cross-legged in front of her.

Speaking about their decision to help front the campaign they said, "You do feel a little guilty holding a huge dead fish while you are very much alive, but by doing this Fishlove portrait with a deep-sea Black Scabbard fish we want to make clear the message: if we don’t end the over-fishing and pollution of the ocean, all these beautiful creatures are threatened."

The quirky campaign photoshoot also featured fellow actors Miriam Margoyle, who posed alongside a John Dory, ballet dancer Gary Avis with a Mahi Mahi, and actress Felicity Dean was pictured cradling a large cod.

Funded by top London seafood restaurant J Sheekey Oyster Bar and photographed by Jillian Edelstein, the FishLove campaign has become one of the most prolific in recent years.

Last year FishLove was deemed successful after it featured an image of Helena Bonham-Carter with a yellowfin tuna, which was credited with encouraging the U.K. Government to draw up plans to create the world's biggest network of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs).
