Emma Roberts suffered a hair-raising disaster while filming IT'S KIND OF A FUNNY STORY - the actress' locks were accidentally dyed green for the role.
The brunette actress agreed to go blonde for the movie, but a string of mishaps at the salon left her regretting the decision.
She explains, "I (dyed) it for a movie called It's Kind of a Funny Story. I just thought it would be fun to do something different but I had to sit in the hair chair for ten hours for two days to get this because my hair was brown and then they tried to dye it blonde and it turned green - very scary. I was literally like, 'Are you sure this is going to be blonde?' And then it turned red. And then it was blonde."
But Roberts admits fair hair does have its perks - she's noticed male fans now find her more attractive.
She adds, "It's weird because when I had brown hair, girls would be like, 'You're so pretty and so grown up.' And then when I had blonde hair, guys would be like, 'You're really hot.'"
