Emma Bunton doesn't believe in fad diets.

The former Spice Girl - who has always been famed for her curvier figure - admits she's finally pleased with her body and says it's down to being sensible, not obsessive, with food and exercise.

She said: "I'm really happy with my figure now. I exercise three times a week. I go for a run or take our dogs for a walk - and I'm almost enjoying it. It's got to be about balance - being healthy but not letting it rule your life."

After giving birth to her son Beau in August 2007, Emma says she took her time to lose her baby weight as she knew it was the best way to maintain her figure.

She said:"I went to the gym three times a week, not seven - being stuck on a running machine for hours is so dull. I ate smaller portions and snacked on fruit."
